At Le Chat Botté, we are used to setting ambitious goals.
One of them is to broaden children’s horizons through exposure to new cultures.
Our food is a great example of this.
The culinary provision in our kindergarten is excellent:
we alternate between weeks of French, Russian, English and international cuisine.
Do you like quiche Lorraine?
What if you simply haven’t tried it properly?
We follow an important French rule – you don’t have to eat something,
but you must try it.
You might like it!

INTERIOR DESIGN
LIFE IN LE CHAT BOTTÉ
How can we make a child’s growth comfortable?
By creating an environment which accounts for HOW they grow.
Good taste is not innate.
It is formed by eating off porcelain dishes,
sleeping on luxury bedsheets,
and even (yes, really, don’t laugh!) using special frog-shaped bathroom furniture
designed for children.
LIFE IN LE CHAT BOTTÉ
A child learns everything firmly and for a long time,
when he hears, sees and does it himself.
Walks and work in a brightly decorated garden
develop curiosity and observation in children,
and the opportunity to see the results of their work -
purposefulness and diligence.
Le Chat Botté is located in the middle of a forest.
Despite the fact that, by installing a ventilation system with humidity control,
we’ve ensured that the children can breathe the forest air even when indoors,
we take the idea of maximising and optimising time spent outdoors very seriously.
Our curriculum includes activities
in verandas with drinking water and installed lighting,
hikes through the forest and on walking routes, visits to local bodies of water,
outdoor sports and games.
LIFE IN LE CHAT BOTTÉ
Our teachers are a separate caste.
They are not only native speakers of either French, English or Russian,
but also proud representatives of their culture.
They don’t teach – they set an example to follow.
How to master British formality, parry a French joke,
or thank a waiter without familiarity, impertinence or condescension –
these things are almost impossible to learn as an adult.
But they’re easy to pick up for children, if someone shows them how at the right time.
Our cleaning staff, just like our teachers, are extraordinary.
Some resemble house elves, others – wizards.
In essence, that’s what they are.
At least, your child will be convinced of this, and will try to convince you as well.TEACHERS AND STAFF OF LE CHAT BOTTÉ
